The
Agricultural Writers’ Association of
South Africa and New Holland South Africa invites you to the 10th
World Congress of the IFAJ
to be held in South Africa from 12-19 March 2004, the first IFAJ
congress ever to be held in Africa.
We
have prepared an intriguing and diverse programme, starting in the north
and ending down south in breathtaking Cape Town, to give you a glimpse
of a country and its agriculture which forms the spearhead of
the African renaissance.
The
congress will commence in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve (Website:
www.mabalingwe.co.za) near Bela-Bela (previously known as Warm Baths) in
the Limpopo Province, about two hours by road north of
Johannesburg. World experts on precision farming and genetically
modified organisms will present lectures.
After
the meetings and conferences we will offer guided tours to different
parts of the country.
Although you will have a wide choice between different agricultural
theme tours, game ranching and wildlife conservation will feature in
each of the theme tours.
You may even see members of the famous Big Five of Africa with your own
eyes: Lion, buffalo, elephant, rhinoceros and leopard.
